LA GRANDE, Ore.| The Knights fell to the no. 20-ranked Eastern Oregon in their matchup on Friday by a score of 77-46.
Warner Pacific (0-9, 0-4) had a tall task ahead of them when they traveled to La Grande to take on the Mounties (7-1, 4-0) in search of their first win on the season.
Eastern Oregon held the lead for virtually the entire game. The Knights kept things close in the first quarter as they held the Mounties to a six point lead at the end of the first.
Eastern Oregon continued to extend their lead throughout the game, as they went into the half up by 12. The Mounties had three players score at least 14 points, helping them come away with a lopsided 77-46 victory.
Top performances for the Knights includes
Amalya Sales who led the team with 12 points, and
Bobbi Clark who led the team with 5 rebounds.
The loss drops the Knights to 0-9 on the season. Women's basketball is back in action tomorrow, Dec. 17 when they travel to take on College of Idaho. Â Â Â
