PORTLAND, Ore.| The Knights dropped their last game of the 2022 calendar year when they fell to Southern Oregon University by a score of 68-54.
Warner Pacific (0-12, 0-7) had a tough task ahead of them when they hosted the Raiders of Southern Oregon (10-3, 6-1).
The Knights led early on in the first quarter, however, the Raiders were able to take the lead with just over three minutes left in the first quarter. The Raiders ended the first quarter up by two.
Southern Oregon broke away in the second quarter, outscoring the Knights 24-10.
The Knights outscored the Raiders in the second half, but the deficit was too much to overcome and the Knights ultimately fell by a score of 68-54.
Paityn Rhode led the Knights with 12 points, followed by
Amalya Sales who scored 11 points and recorded three assists.
The loss drops the Knights to 0-12 on the season. Women's basketball is back in action on Jan. 6 when they take on Lewis-Clark State. Â
