HELENA, Mont.| The Knights fell to Carroll College in 2-0 in their matchup on Friday.
The game was controlled by Carroll from the start. The Fighting Saints attempted 12 shots in the first half whereas the Knights only attempted 2. Despite the high shot volume, Carroll was held scoreless in the first half of play.
Carroll was able to find the back of the net in the second half. Goals from Blair Stapleton in the 57
th and 76
th minute brought the game to its final score of 2-0.
The offensive struggles continued for the Knights, attempting only six shots on the game compared to 35 by Carroll.
The loss drops the Knights to 3-5-1 on the season. Women's soccer is in action next at home Sept. 30 against Bushnell.
