Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific volleyball hosted conference rival Northwest University on Saturday night where they fell in 3 sets 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.
Northwest benefited from timely runs of consecutive points in each of the three sets to propel them to a win over the Knights. The Eagles went on an 8-point run in the first set, a 5-point run in the second, and a 9-point run in the third to put a hard fought game out of reach for Warner Pacific.
Top performances for the Knights include
Sabah Mohammady who had 9 digs, JuJu Williams who had 7 digs, and
Tevlin Britten who had 5 kills and 4 digs.
The loss puts Warner Pacific at 0-2 on the season. The Knights are in action again on Friday Sept. 9 when they travel to Eugene, Ore. to take on Bushnell University.
