The Knights Lose to Bushnell

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 14th, 2023

Eugene, Ore. | The Knights lost tonight's result against the Bushnell University Beacons by a final score of 2-0 in Eugene, Oregon.

The Knights put 10 shots but unfortunately only put 2 of them on goal which both were saved. Kiya Gramps and Maddie Goss were the Knights who put shots on goal. The Beacons got their goals in the 30th minute and the 86th minute.

Kate Pomerinke got the start in goal again and other than the two goals given up, had a great game saving 10 Beacon shots on net.

The Knights move to 5-8-1 overall and 2-6-1 in conference play.

"Once again, we created more than enough chances to win the game," Head Coach, Justan Wolvert said. "The work rate and approach to the game were positive. We were just not clinical enough in front of the goal."
