Knights Draw Against RMC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 22nd, 2023
 
Portland, Ore. | The Knights unfortunately worked a draw against Rocky Mountain College today at Eastside Timbers Complex.
 
The Knights tied Rocky Mountain College by a final score of 1-1. The Knights lone goal was scored on a dandy by the always reliable, Kiya Gramps in the 19th minute assisted by Shalece Easley. It was Gramps' 3rd goal of the season and Easley's 2nd assist of the year as well.
 
The lone goal for Rocky Mountain College was an own goal in the 4th minute.
 
Kate Pomerinke got the start in goal again today and played very well. Other than the own goal, she saved 9 Bears shots.
 
"After a slow start, we found a nice rhythm for the better part of the game," Head Coach Justan Wolvert said. "We showed up ready to play and created several good chances. I'm looking forward to a fun week of training in preparation for next weekend's games."
 
Next Up
The Knights will get ready this week for their final two games next weekend. They will take on Eastern Oregon at 2:30pm on Friday, October 27th at Eastside Timbers Complex.
