Portland, Ore. | The Knights celebrated senior day against Lewis-Clark State College today as they fall to the Yotes in three straight sets.
The Knights lost all three sets by final scores of 13-25, 9-25, and 13-25. The Knights just didn't seem to have it today after yesterday's thrilling victory. Even though the team struggled today, there is still good things that came out of the game.
Hailey Charriere had one of the best plays of the night in the 1
st set when she killed one down the line purposefully for the point.
Alyssa Asuncion once again put her body on the line as always digging up balls to save possessions for the Knights.
The lone Knights senior,
Shelby Martin was recognized before the game for her wonderful career as a Knight. She was such a great team leader and will be missed by all.
"It was a tough night," Interim Head Coach Chon Clayton said. "The team couldn't get anything going. The team had many small victories along the way but was not enough against a tough Lewis-Clark team. I'm still very proud of the players as I always am."
