Kirkland, Wash. | The Knights played their final match of the season today against Northwest University and lost in four sets.
The Knights lost the game in four sets with final set scores of 25-19, 9-25, 15-25, and 16-25. The Knights were led in kills by
Autumn Gaboury-Parker with 8 followed by
Edita Ljuca and
Maryann Tulele with 7 each.
Kyla Reiling finished the season doing her thing with 25 more assists adding to an impressive season total.
Alyssa Asuncion had 16 more digs tonight as well.
Elizabeth Reid ended the season with an impressive 184 kills on the year which led the team.
Kyla Reiling almost made the top 8 in the conference in assists with a ridiculous 450 which was only 29 away from 8
th most in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Alyssa Asuncion all year was giving up her body to save possessions for the Knights. She ended the year with an impressive 218 digs.
This season wasn't what the Knights had in mind but there was a lot of positives this season and great moments. The win early in the year against Multnomah in four sets at home was really fun to witness. The win against Walla Walla was one of the most exciting games of the year for not just volleyball but for all Knights athletics winning in three sets in dramatic fashion.
Next Up
The Knights will regroup and continue to recruit more talent to an already solid core group of players to try and break out of the tough times that has fallen upon this program. The search for the next head coach will be upcoming and God willing, the next coach will continue to grow this program.
