Warner Pacific entered tonight having never beat George Fox in any of their previous meetings all time. Tonight changed that as they won 56-54 thanks to some clutch free throw shooting, and great defense.

From the start of the first quarter, it was evident that the Knights were here to win. They led by one point at the end of the quarter thanks to a huge 3 pointer from Amayla Sales. The second quarter saw both teams go on runs, with Warner prevailing after leading 35-31 heading into the half.

The second half saw George Fox prove they were a formidable opponent, but some stellar plays from McKeely Tonkin saw the Knights within striking distance at the end of the third down just 3 points.

Emily Brown took over in the clutch, scoring 7 straight points including 5 clutch free throws. She finished with 18 points and the Knights prevailed winning the game 56-54.

"Being able to erase a late game deficit and finish on top on the road is a great accomplishment for this team," Head Coach, Jimmy Smith said. "Having Emily brown go for 18 and 12 was huge and we needed it. The team got stops late when we had to have them and turned around to convert into points on offense."

This win sees the winning streak push to 4 games, and sets the Knights up nicely for their next game against Linfield University, this Saturday at CC Perry gym.
