PORTLAND, Ore.| Warner Pacific men's basketball fell in their matchup against the #1 ranked College of Idaho on Friday.
The Knights (14-8, 11-6) had a tall task ahead of them as they played host to the top ranked team in the NAIA in the Yotes (21-1, 16-0).
After a few minutes of back and forth action to open the game, the Yotes gained the advantage and quickly went up by double digits. Their lead ballooned to 22 by the end of the first half.
Shots weren't falling for the Knights as the game became more lopsided in the second half. Despite getting decent looks throughout the game, the Knights suffered their lowest shooting percentage as a team all season. When it was all said and done, the Yotes earned an 88-42 victory
The loss puts the Knights at 14-8 on the season. Men's basketball is back in action on Feb. 4 when they take on Eastern Oregon University.
