Eugene, OR. | The Warner Pacific Women's Volleyball team played two very close sets against Bushnell University but still lost the match in three sets to the Beacons.
The Knights lose each set tonight by scores of 7-25, 22-25, and 21-25 respectively. After a tough first set, they really battled back and played Bushnell very well. Unfortunately, they just weren't quite able to win one of those sets.
Autumn Gaboury-Parker led the way for the Knights offensively with 12 kills bringing her season total to 27 in that category good for second most on the team till this point.
Maryann Tulele is first in this category with 31 on the year. Autumn not only had the 12 kills but she had a .435 attack percentage which will always get it done.
"It was nice to see the style of play that we know this group is capable of tonight," Head Coach, Kim Lissinna said. "Great effort from some of our freshman class who gave us a glimpse of what the future looks like."
Kyla Reiling was a monster setting up her teammates earning 20 assists today which accounted for all but two of her teams assists.
Hana Menasco had 9 digs in the game helping the Knights continue many volleys.
