FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 23rd, 2023
Portland, OR. | The Knights fell tonight in three straight sets to the Geoducks of Evergreen State College at C.C. Perry Gymnasium this evening on the grounds of Warner Pacific University.
The Knights lost each set tonight to the Geoducks by scores of 19-25, 15-25, and 23-25. Once again, the Knights show major glimpses of what this team can and will be in the future. "We have all the materials we need to create a masterpiece however, we are stuck with where to place the first brush stroke," Head Coach, Kim Lissinna exclaimed.
The Knights were led in kills by Elizabeth Reid who had 9 more to add to her ever-growing impressive season total. Maryann Tulele had 6 and Izzy Moore had 5. Kyla Reiling (broken foot and all) continues to absolutely destroy the stat book with assists with 16 more tonight. The true grit she is showing playing on that broken foot is a testament to her dedication to this team and this season. Maryann Tulele had 13 digs to lead the way for the Knights followed by the before mentioned, Kyla Reiling with 7 of her own.
