Kirkland, Wash.| Warner Pacific played a solid game today against Northwest University but unfortunately wasn't able to quite pull out the win and lost 95-93 in overtime.
Matt Solomon,
Caleb-Tyree Morgan, and
Maxwell Moses all had 18 points apiece and were the three Knights that hit double figures tonight.
Collin Oestereich and
Mark Wishom each had 8 points.
The Knights found themselves down at the half 49-41. Coming out of the half, the Knights pulled together and came back to make a solid game of it. The Knights came back from 14 points down and tied the game with 2:35 left after
Maxwell Moses hit two free throws. The Knights were up 83-81 with 15 seconds left and unfortunately gave up a layup tying the score at 83. The Knights had a chance to win the game but came up a millimeter short on a fade-away two-pointer from
Matt Solomon sending the game to overtime.
The Knights had a pretty solid overtime scoring 10 points in the extra 5 minutes allotted but Northwest was just a little better scoring 12 in the period to take the 2-point victory.

The Knights will look to destroy their 13 game losing streak against Evergreen State College. The game will be played at 5pm in Olympia, Washington.
