Knights Lose to LCSC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 20th, 2024

Portland, Ore.| The Knights lost to Lewis-Clark State College today by a final score of 93-78 behind the back of Jaedon Bradley's 25 points for the Warriors.

The Knights had a very solid first half going into the break deadlocked with the Warriors at 45 apiece. Collin Oestereich had a stellar first half having 10 points. It wasn't the 10 points that made his first half great though. It was the way he scored the 10 points. They all came the hard way down in the paint making impressive post moves to get a good look. Some of his buckets ended up not being good looks but sometimes better offensive beats great defense and that was the case for a few of his baskets tonight.

The Knights shot 18-30 in the first half including 4-7 from three which was good enough for a blistering 60% from the field. The Knights shot about 17.9% better than the Warriors in the first half.

The second half was a tougher one for Warner Pacific earning 33 points on 10-26 shooting including just 2-7 from three. They shot 38.5% from the field compared to 53.1% for LCSC. The Warriors pulled away halfway through the period and didn't look back earning the 15 point victory.

The Knights were led in scoring by Matt Solomon who nearly had a double double with 16 points and 7 boards. Collin Oestereich finished the game with 14, and Maxwell Moses finished with 13. Mark Wishom and Sean Johnson each finished with 12 off the bench to round out the Knights that finished in double figures.

The Knights now move to 2-15 overall and 0-11 in conference play.
