Eugene, Ore.| The Knights were down in Eugene, Oregon tonight taking on Bushnell University and lost 111-86.

The Knights had a very good first half shooting the ball shooting 17-35 from the field good enough for 47.2%. They shot lights out from three as well hitting 7-17.
Matt Solomon hit 3 of those in the first half on the way to a very impressive 19-point period.
Sean Johnson hit two threes and had 8 first half points to help the Knights as well. Even though the Knights shot well from the field, unfortunately the Beacons of Bushnell shot better hitting an ungodly 52.6% from the field. The Beacons went into the half holding a 55-43 lead over the Knights.

The second half just like the women's game proved to be very tough for the Knights and extremely good for the Beacons. The Knights managed 43 points and shot 54.8% from the field hitting 5 threes along the way but the Beacons had 56 points shooting 57.1% from the field in the half. The final score was 111-86 which is the most points scored against the Knights this season with the previous high coming from Multnomah when they put up 97 back on December 30
th.

The Knights were led in scoring tonight by
Matt Solomon who finished with 21 points after earning 19 in the first half.
Sean Johnson had 14,
Maxwell Moses had 12, and
Caleb-Tyree Morgan had 10 to round out the Knights in double figures.
Chris Murphy had a strong 9 off the bench and
Mark Wishom had 6.

Next Up
The Knights after winning their first two games of the year are now 2-18 overall and 0-14 in conference play. They will be home next weekend to play Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech starting with Southern Oregon on February 2
nd at 7:30pm.
