The Knights led by one going into the fourth quarter when the Red Hawks of Simpson University started to rain in the points and put up 23.

"It's tough to drop a game when there was a ton of positives throughout," Head Coach, Jimmy Smith said. "We often learn best in defeat so we will do our best to grow from this opportunity and move forward. Overall, the girls worked really hard, rebounded well against a tought team, and had great bench energy."

With this only being the Knights second game of the season, there is not a lot to worry about. The team still has two more games before conference play starts on the 26th of November. This will give the seven new signees and new assistant coaches plenty of time to warm up and prepare for the long season ahead of them that does not end until the 22nd of February.
