Knights Volleyball played their hearts out against Lewis-Clark State but fell short. They scored 15 or more points per set, but fell short as Lewis-Clark State put on the pressure in the kill column.
The final scores were 25-15, 25-15, and 25-18. Even though the losing streak continued, positives shined through that the Knights hope to build on in the future.
Tayah-Anne Toa led the kill column for the knights with seven, while Autumn Gaboury-Parker closely followed with six. Jada Dias was tonight's assists leader with 11, and Angel Camagay was perfect having twelve digits with zero errors. The Knights even put up five service aces on the Warriors. Errors were once again the name of the game as the knights had 21 compared to Lewis-Clark states nine.
The Knights will defend their home court against the Walla Walla University Wolves on Saturday, September 14th. The game is at 9pm. Come out and support your Knights as they look to take home their first win of the season!
