FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 22nd, 2024
Ashland, Ore.| Women's soccer was unable to break their losing streak as they lost 5-0 against the Raiders of Southern Oregon University. The Raiders came out with an early attack, scoring their first goal in the 8th minute of play. They were silent for a while but came out of halftime on fire as they put up four in the frame.
There were some positives though as the Knights were able to put up 11 shots today in which five were on goal. Goalkeeper, Litzy Gonzolzez, was able to not let the game get too far out of hand as she made 10 saves for the 15 shots on goal that the Raiders tried to get past her.
The Knights will come back home on Friday, September 27th as they begin a seven game home stretch. They will take on the University of Providence at 12pm followed by Carroll College on Saturday the 28th. Make sure to come out to Eastside Timbers Sports Complex to show the Knights some love and cheer them on to their next win!
