Volleyball was unable to break the losing streak on the road as they lost 3-1 to the Mounties of Eastern Oregon University. The final scores were 12-25, 25-22, 7-25, and 11-25. The Knights were able to leave it all out on the court especially during the second set, but they were not able to keep the ball rolling as they had 12 errors and hit for .019 in the final two sets. Winning that second set though was a huge deal as Eastern entered the game ranked second in the country.
Senior, Elizabeth Reid, had herself a night as she led the team in kills with 9 and blocks with 7. Sophomore, Brooklyn Starley, was also able to keep her momentum alive as she led the team in assists with 14 and had 8 digs to keep plays alive.
The Knights will finish their road series against The College of Idaho Yotes on the 28th of September at 6PM pacific time. They will then head back to Portland and take on Southern Oregon University at home on Friday October 4th, at 6pm.
