Portland, Ore.| The Knights played their first game of the 2024 campaign against NCAA DIII, Linfield University, and played well in a 3-0 set sweep by the Wildcats.
The Knights lost each set tonight by final scores of 25-19, 25-22, and 25-20. All three sets were very close indeed with great plays on both sides. Newcomer,
Tayah-Anne Toa led the way for the Knights in the kill category with eight followed by
Autumn Gaboury-Parker and
Elizabeth Reid each with four.
Kyla Reiling didn't miss a beat from last season once again leading the Knights in assists with 11 followed by newcomer,
Amor Rapoza, who finished with nine.
Alyssa Asuncion and
Elizabeth Reid each had seven digs to help the cause as well.
The Knights were solid in a lot of areas but one of the things that hindered them were the errors. They had 18 total errors helping out the Wildcats. The Knights move to 0-1 on the season while the Wildcats who have already played some games move to 3-2 on the year.

The Knights will have the day off tomorrow and get ready for conference play on Friday against #9 Corban University on August 6
th at 6pm.
