Forest Grove, Ore.| Warner Pacific Men's Golf played their first 18 holes of the Pacific University Invitational at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course and finished nine over par for the day.
 
Warner Pacific with their effort today finished eighth overall with 13 teams competing. Alden Fay carried the torch for the Knights ending the day shooting a 68 (-3) which is tied for fourth with Pacific Lutheran's Luke Pendergraft, and Pacific University's Ryan Murray.   
 
Willamette University won the day finishing seven under par. The Bearcats, AJ Papajohn, finished the day tied for first place in the entire field shooting four under par. George Fox follows Willamette in second shooting -3 under par, Whitman finished third at one under par, and host institution Pacific University finished fourth at even for the day.

The Knights will look to improve their place in the standings as they have their final round at Pumpkin Ridge starting tomorrow morning at 9am.
