La Grande, Ore.| Warner Pacific Volleyball had a tough task taking on #1 Eastern Oregon and fell in three sets at Quinn Coliseum.
Eastern Oregon showed why they are the number one team in the country not giving the Knights anything easy and it showed. WPU only had eight total kills on the night with
JahNay Jardine having the most with three.
Josie Schultz had two and
Tayah-Anne Toa,
Naomi Johnson, and
Jodecee Jardine each had one. Johnson had the lone block of the night for the WarnerPac. There weren't many long volleys as the Knights were only able to dig out 18 attacks.
Pa'oakalani Payne-Kaeo and
Angel Camagay each had five to lead the way.
Audrey Histed followed with four. The Knights finished the game with a negative attacking percentage (-.114).
The story on the other side of the equation was a very different one. The Mountaineers had 43 kills, 35 digs, and had a .486 attacking percentage. The Mountaineers were very mistake free only having eight attacking errors.
Next Up
The Knights will come home next weekend and will play Bushnell at 6pm next Thursday at CC Perry Gymnasium.
