CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference announces a four-year, exclusive streaming rights agreement with
Urban Edge Network ("UEN"), bringing select CCC-sanctioned sports and broadcasts to UEN's growing digital platforms. The partnership expands UEN's collegiate footprint in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada while delivering all-day game programming across U.S. time zones.
Founded in 1993, the CCC is an NAIA conference headquartered in Corvallis, Oregon, competing across 16 sports with 11 full members plus associates spanning the Northwestern United States and British Columbia. The conference is led by Commissioner Robert Cashell (since 2012) and consistently places teams and student-athletes on national stages and awards lists.
"We are thrilled to be joining the UEN family," stated Robert Cashell, CCC commissioner. "It has long been a goal to have our content under a single platform for our fans to enjoy and to showcase the incredible talent among the over 3,000 student-athletes that make up the CCC. I want to thank Mr. Hardy Pelt and UEN for their creative approach in bringing great small college athletics to a world wide audience while innovating the advertising space."
"Locking in the Cascade Collegiate Conference shores up the western half of our DMA map and completes our coast-to-coast live window—so fans wake up with games on the East Coast and roll straight through prime time in the Pacific. From cross country at sunrise to baseball under the lights, UEN now programs all day, every day, for every sport. This is exactly how we make college sports more accessible for student-athletes, alumni, and brands alike," said Hardy L. Pelt, Founding Member & Chief Revenue Officer of UEN.
CCC schools will be joining the UEN platform as soon as possible, as onboarding gets scheduled and completed.
