Bryten Gumke has 17 Third Quarter Points in Win Against Bushnell

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 5th, 2025

Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Women's basketball team hosted Bushnell University this afternoon and took the win from the Beacons 64-60.

Bryten Gumke was hot from deep, scoring 19 points on 5-7 shooting from three, while Skylar Groesbeck and Riley Layton each put up 15 points. Layton dominated with nine rebounds as well. Warner Pacific exploded in the third quarter, hitting seven threes and shooting over 64% from the field to flip the game.

Bushnell wasn't far behind in this one. A big night from Ayden Krupke, who dropped 27 points on 12-26 shooting from the field which kept the Beacons in this contest. Despite strong starts in both the first and second quarters, Bushnell's offense cooled in the second half, especially from beyond the arc where they went 0-3 in the third quarter and 2-8 in the fourth. Bushnell couldn't keep pace with Warner after halftime, allowing them to take the win at home.
