Raiders Shoot Lights Out in Win Over the Knights

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 21st, 2025

Ashland, Ore.| The Knights played a solid Southern Oregon squad tonight in their second to last game of the season and fell by a final score of 104-75 in front of a crowd of 335 at Lithia Motors Pavilion.

The Knights were led in scoring tonight by Jurrien Sparks who continues to shine especially late in the season with a 19 point, 10 rebound double-double. Collin Oestereich nearly had a double-double himself with 12 points and seven boards. Vincent Warren rounded out the Knights that were in double figures with 12 points as well to go along with five boards. Cade Baker had a great game nearly having a double-double the hard way. Baker had nine points and an impressive eight assists in his second to last game as a Knight.

The Knights as a team shot 40.8% from the field which included going 10-23 from distance good enough for an impressive 43.5%. Unfortunately, the Knights as a team had a tough time at the charity stripe only making seven out of their 20 attempts good enough for 35%. The Raiders of Southern Oregon shot lights out shooting an even 50% in the first half and followed that performance with a second half that saw them shoot 60.98%. Combined, the Raiders shot 56.3% from the game. The bench points was a huge stat in this game as the Raiders had a crazy 69 points contributed from the bench to just 20 for the Knights. The paint was a huge advantage for the Raiders as well with 56 of their points coming from there to 32 points from the Knights.
