FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 22
nd, 2025
Klamath Falls, Ore.| The Knights finished their season off today with an 80-60 loss to the hands of Oregon Tech.
The Knights played pretty well today and actually led at halftime 33-30. The second half turned out to be the undoing for the Knights especially in the third quarter. In the third quarter, the Owls went God mode and shot 82.35% from the field and followed that up with a 50% fourth quarter.
The Knights were led by
Emily Fortin who in her final game of her collegiate career, dropped 20 points.
Skylar Groesbeck and
Alex Saunders both scored ten points apiece to round out the Knights in double figures. The future is bright with those two at the helm for next season.
Alexa Mee finished her career with a solid eight point five rebound performance.
Next Up
The Knights are losing a lot of bodies after this year as we saw seven seniors have their final game in a Knights jersey tonight. Congratulations to
McKeeley Tonkin,
Paityn Rhode,
Emily Fortin,
Alexa Mee,
Amalya Sales,
Ashland Campbell, and
Emiko Nagai for giving everything they had to this program.
The Knights will look to figure out a recipe that takes them from a decent team to a better team. It will not be an easy task but the coaching staff is up for the challenge and will figure out how to get the Knights to the top.
