Portland, Ore.|Â The Knights Men's Basketball squad fell short to Evergreen State College with a final score of 83-79.Â
The game was very close in the first half with the Knights down by one. In the second half, the Knights came out hot but were unable to stop the Geoducks.
The Knights were able to make some clutch shots during the game. They made 30 shots from the field, six threes, and were 77% from the line. Defensively, they had 41 rebounds, created 11 turnovers and 19 second chance points.
With the team success came individual success as Junior
Jurrien Sparks scored his career high in points with 23. Sparks also had six rebounds and a block for the Knights. The Knights also saw a great defensive performance from junior
Terrin Dickey who had 11 rebounds and 10 points during the game
Next Up
The Knights will play their final two home games next weekend. The first will take place on Valentines day as the Yotes from The College of Idaho make the drive to Portland. Tip off is set for 7:30pm following the women's game. The second and final home game of the 2024-2025 season will be the following day. The Knights will play at 5pm against Eastern Oregon University. This game is also Senior day, so make sure to celebrate those Knights who are graduating in May.
