Knights Lose Final Two to Yotes

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 19th, 2025

Milwaukie, Ore.| In their second set of double headers against The College of Idaho, Warner Pacific Knights baseball lost both leading to a 2-2 record over the weekend.

Game one was close with a final score of 6-4 while game two needed in full favor of the Yotes with a score of 18-8.

Game one
The scoring in game one went back and forth. College of Idaho put up a single run in the third and fourth innings but the Knights responded with two of their own. In the sixth, the Yotes scored two more and in the seventh the Knights answered back with two of their own. Finally in the top of the eighth, the Yotes put the nail in the coffin scoring two more to take the win.

From an offensive standpoint the Knights bats were quiet, but Mason Deverna had three hits to keep their hopes alive. Collin Schiller also had two hits of his own, one of which was a double. Pitching wise, Connor Hale went six innings with eight strikeouts. Kaden Hindman, who earned the loss, came in relief of Hale and totaled one strikeout in his three innings pitched.

Game two

Alex Nisbit led in the offensive category as he had two more hits, one of which was a double, and two RBI's.
