Knights Obliterate Warriors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 25th, 2025

Aurora, Ore.| In their final home series of the regular season, Warner Pacific Knights Baseball started the weekend strong winning both games against Corban University.
Game one ended in favor of the Knights 9-5 and game two ended 16-5 which marked the program's first run rule in the New Era of Knights Baseball.

Game one
In game one the Knights came out slow, being no hit through the first six innings. They allowed Corban to go up 5-0 but that all changed in the bottom of the sixth when the Knights scored seven huge runs. They then added two more in the seventh to secure the win.

Ayden Yaeger started and earned his fourth win of the season with four strikeouts. He was aided by Jaxon Hamada who got closed out the game, going three innings with no runs or walks allowed. At the plate, Alex Nisbit and Connor Hale both added home runs, which led to a Knights victory.

Game two
In game two the Knights hit the gas and never looked back. The Knights scored two in the first, six in the third, and eight in the fourth to take down Corban. Trent Lowe led the Knights in hits with three with many of the Knights runs coming off walks. The Knights scored ten runs just off of walks alone. On the mound Josiah Nickel threw a gem going all seven innings with four strikeouts. This was Nickel's first win of the season in his last college start. The Knights scored 16 runs off of just eight hits.

Up next
The Knights will finish their home stand against Corban tomorrow at 11am and 2pm. This is also Senior day, so make sure to get out and show support to those graduating. The Knights final game will be on Monday, May 5th when they travel to Seattle Washington to play the University of Washington at 6:30pm.
