FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 5th, 2025
Lewiston, Idaho.| Warner Pacific Knights Baseball took two losses to start the weekend against Lewis-Clark State College. Game one finished 17-0 in favor of the Warriors. Game two ended 14-3 with the Knights coming out hot, but due to a few errors and calls not going their way, Lewis and Clark State was able to run away with the game. Both games went seven innings due to the ten runs after seven innings mercy rule.
Game one
In game one the Knights kept it close, giving up three in the first three innings. However in the fourth and the fifth the Warriors put up 13 which is all they needed for the run rule. In 3.1 innings Ayden Yaeger gave up three earned runs which gave the Knights a shot but they were just not able to get the offense going. The Knights were held to three hits in the game.
Game twoÂ
In game two the Knights scored two runs in the first inning getting things started in the right way. However, LCSC answered back with three of their own in the bottom of the first. In the second LCSC put up another sixth spot which gave them enough room for the win. The Warriors were helped in the sixth inning by a tough call that went the way of LCSC giving the Warriors an extra out to work with. Three Knights batters had multi-hit games as Connor Hale, Alex Nisbit, and Matthew Revels all logged two hits.Â
