FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 29th, 2025
Portland, Ore.| Today was the first day of the Tournament of Knights Invitational at Glendoveer Golf Course and the day ended with the host team Warner Pacific leading the pack.
The Warner Pacific Knights rebounded great today after the tough outing last week at the Orange & Black Invitational at the Tualatin Country Club. The Knights shot three over par for the day with huge rounds from
Drew Satterhwaite and
Micah Chadwick. Satterhwaite reached the clubhouse at two under par and Chadwick finished at one under par. Knights freshman,
EJ Rubesh was a great story today who started with five bogeys but then figured it out and fought back in a huge way. Rubesh finished the round with three straight birdies and finished four over par for the day showing some great resolve. Rubesh also found some solid success off the tee using his driver off the deck.
Today's Corban Universities' top player was Alex Moore who finished his first round at five over par. Olympic College brought both their varsity and JV clubs today and struggled to get ahold of the course. Alex Moore led the way for Olympic varsity club finishing five over and Dylan Williams was tops for the JV club finishing 12 over.
After round one, the Knights lead the pack with a score of 295 followed by Corban with 324, Olympic (V) with 334, and Olympic (JV) with 361.
