Tyson Parker Scores 19 in Competitive Loss to Owls

Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Men's Basketball team took on 21st ranked Oregon Tech and played very well in an 82-70 loss.

Dakota Reber had a big night for the Owls with 27 points going 10-15 from the field including going 5-8 from distance. Reber also helped his team in other impressive ways as well having eight rebounds and a couple assists. Jackson Cooper had an amazing day, almost getting a double-double the hard way finishing with 15 points, four rebounds, nine assists, and a block.

Warner Pacific was competitive tonight especially early against this ranked opponent. Tyson Parker continues to absolutely impress, leading the squad with 19 points. Parker also dropped four assists into the stat sheet as well. Apollo Eugene finished with 12. The Knights were just a bit overmatched against a great Owls squad but really fought hard and truly played well. Despite this game being competitive early, the Knights slowed down in the second half dropping to 34.6% from the field leading them to drop to the Owls by 17 points.

Next Up
The Knights will head out on the road this upcoming week starting Thursday against Bushnell University. The contest will be at the Morse Center down in Eugene, Oregon at 7:30pm.
