Following the match, Warner Pacific head coach
Troy Ready emphasized the importance of earning three points while continuing to build momentum heading into the final week of the conference schedule.
"Today's win against Carroll was important for us on a number of fronts. Of utmost importance was gaining three points as we push towards the conference tournament. However, also of significance was obtaining further momentum and doing so without some of our mainstay players. I hope this serves to instill even more belief in our team as we head into the final week of conference matches," Ready said.
The win gives Warner Pacific valuable momentum as the Knights enter a crucial final stretch of Cascade Collegiate Conference play with postseason positioning on the line.
