Knights Celebrate Senior Night Amidst Loss to Northwest

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 21st, 2026
 
Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific Men's Basketball played their final game of the season tonight against Northwest University and fell large by a final score of 106-80 on Senior Night.
 
The Knights were led tonight by Chad Napoleon who on his Senior Night had a near double-double with 18 points, seven rebounds, and an assist. Terrin Dickey, who was also celebrated before the game for his career, had 16 points and five rebounds. Senior Nzube Mekkam rounded out the Knights that finished in double figures finishing with 11 points and an assist.
 
Northwest was led by Andrew Lyamah who scored 24 points and added three rebounds, two blocks, and a steal to his resume for the evening. Logan Stempniak finished with a near triple-double with 22 points, six rebounds, seven rebounds, and a steal.
 
The game didn't have much pace with a ton of fouls and turnovers committed on both sides. The Eagles had 11 turnovers which resulted in eight Knight's points. The Knights also had 11 turnovers of their own resulting in 15 points for the Eagles.
 
Next Up
The Knights are losing nine seniors this season so head coach Jamayne Potts will have his work cut out for him replacing those guys. The Knights will look to continue to build and prepare for the 2026-27 season.
