Knights Out Hit LCSC in 5-2 Loss

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 24th,  2026

Lewiston, Idaho.| Warner Pacific Knights Baseball began their final series and they would be on the road facing Lewis-Clark State College in a four game series. Game one this evening went in favor of LCSC 5-2.

Game One
Scoring in this game ultimately came down to the first inning. LCSC would take advantage of some hits and a defensive miscue to cash in three runs. Following that they would score another run in the second. The Knights would get on the board in the top of the third. Responding, LCSC would get a run of their own in the bottom of the fourth. The game was scoreless from there until the top of the ninth. The Knights, not going down without a fight, scored a run and would bring the tying run to the plate but couldn't cash in from there.

The Knights on offense secured nine hits in this one with seven strikeouts. The Knights had lots of hard contact but couldn't get anything to drop for them. Connor Hale would lead them with two hits and a RBI. Collin Schiller would earn a pinch-hit knock and get an RBI. Pinch hitters Ezra Vice and Ryland Detzler both would come ready off the bench getting a hit. On the mound. Donny Tober would go the whole way pitching eight innings giving up five runs in which just two were earned and added four strikeouts.
