Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific Softball is proud to announce the signing of true freshman catcher Katelynn Kimsey to the 2027 roster.
 
"We are excited to have Katelynn be joining or catching crew next season," Head Coach Ashton Porter said. "She comes from an extremely hard working background and is eager to get after it in a Knights uniform. She will join our six others in our very talented freshman class. I can't wait to see what next year has in store for Katelynn."
 
Kimsey is from Colton, Oregon and attends Colton High School until completion in 2026. While in high school, Kimsey played both softball and basketball all four years. In softball, Kimsey made First Team All-League her sophomore and junior year as well as an honorable mention her freshman year. Kimsey also earned Honorable Mention All-State three of those years. Kimsey was also the player of the year her junior year.
 
Kimsey is coming to Warner Pacific as a true freshman and plans to study nursing as well as play catcher for the Knights. A fun fact about Kimsey is that she shows livestock as a side job.
