Tovar gave up seven hits and six runs in which only half of those will be enforced on her seasons ERA. Ayla Davies got the ball for the Raiders and went the full five innings giving up just two earned runs on three hits.
Game Four
The Knights in this one put up a valiant effort after getting trounced the game before going into the seventh inning tied at three apiece. The scoring for the Knights got started in the bottom of the first inning when
Ryleah Torres hit a solo blast putting WPU on the board.
Kili Makanani came up right after Torres and hit a solo shot of her own for the second run. Torres continued her great game plating another run on a single bringing in Noelani Barawis. Unfortunately for the Knights, this was the last run for the day. The Raiders offense finally woke up in the top of the seventh inning, breaking the 3-3 tie by scoring five runs blowing the game open, taking a deciding 8-3 lead.
The Knights were able to scratch together six hits pushing across three runs in which two were on solo home runs. Barrawis and Torres led the way for the Knights with two hits for each of them.
Kili Makanani pitched her final game as a collegiate athlete and pitched very well for six innings, limiting the damage done by the Raiders. The seventh inning would prove deadly for Makanani as the Raiders jumped on her for five runs, putting the game out of reach. Thomara Drummer started the game for the Knights and got a quick hook from the Raiders coach after giving up a couple of solo home runs. Ayla Davies, who went the distance in game one pitched the final three innings of this game and was the pitcher of note when the Raiders took the lead, giving the Raiders star her second win of the day.
