Knights Wrap Up CCC Championship Tournament on High Note

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 29th, 2026

Lewiston, Idaho.| Warner Pacific Men's Golf finished up the third and final round of the CCC Championship Tournament today at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club and even though they had their best round as a team, they still came home eighth out of nine teams in the final standings.

Alden Fay who had himself a great first round going one under par followed that up with a two over par in round two. In round three however, Fay saved the best for last shooting two under par leading the way for the Knights. Orlando Chiquiti after having a tough first round shooting eight over, shot four over in both the second and third rounds bouncing back nicely. Jack Dalberg gradually got better throughout the tournament shooting eight over in the first round, seven over in the second round, and finally four over in the final round. Drew Satterhwaite finished the third round five over par. Satterhwaite's best round was the first one where he finished two over. Luke Clarizio subbed in for the final round and finished 27 over par. For the tournament, the top four scores are counted towards the final standings. Fay led the team at three over for the tournament followed by Satterhwaite at 14 over, Chiquiti at 16 over, and Dalberg at 19 over.

Host school Lewis-Clark State took home the overall championship shooting an insane 12 under par for the tournament anchored by the overall individual champion Andrea Artusini who finished seven under himself. The University of British Columbia finished second with their best player being Jake Houston who finished four under par. Oregon Tech finished third followed by Bushnell, College of Idaho, Corban, Southern Oregon, and Warner Pacific. Walla Walla University rounded out the nine team field finishing 65 shots over par for the tournament.
