Kevin Rojo

Coach Rojo was welcomed to the Warner Pacific Men’s Basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2021 by Head Coach Jamayne Potts.
 
Coach Rojo is originally from Los Angeles, Calif., and is going into his 6th year of coaching, while also pursuing his degree in Kinesiology & Physical Education.
 
Prior to joining the Warner Pacific Men’s Basketball program, Coach Rojo coached at various levels in Southern California, impacting multiple programs. Rojo joined Coach Potts’ staff at Burbank High School in 2016, helping bring the school its first appearance in the CIF Southern Section Championship in 91 years. Their teams also made their first appearance in the State Regional Semi-Finals in school history.
 
The following year as the head assistant, Coach Rojo was heavily involved with improving Village Christian’s High School basketball program, bringing a 10-win improvement from the school’s previous record.
 
Coach Rojo went on to become the Varsity assistant and JV head coach at Valencia High School the following season, leading his JV team to an 18-10 record, while helping the varsity team finish 25-5 in the 2019-2020 season.
 
Aside from high school coaching, Rojo has also been involved in the AAU scene, coaching the 15U Elite team for Basketball Training Institute in Los Angeles, CA.
