Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho - On a night where defense was the story, Lewis-Clark State found enough offense to defeat Warner Pacific 65-40 on the second day of the Twin Rivers Physical Therapy Classic in Lewiston.
Pressure defense from L-C State led to 19 steals and forced 31 total turnovers by the Knights. WPC's defense was stout as well as they held the host Warriors to 36% shooting, but no Knight player scored in double figures and the team combined to make just 11 of 41 shots from the field.
LC State remained perfect on the year at 7-0, while the Knights drop to 2-4.
Lacy Wood and
Jordan Wilcox led Warner Pacific with eight points each. Wilcox,
Janelle Weiss, and
Jacki Cannon grabbed five rebounds each.
COMING UP: The Knights will attempt to get back to get back in the win column next week when Willamette University will travel to Portland on November 26th.
