Box Score KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech hit 50.9% from the field, including an 11-for-21 effort from the 3-point line, to earn a 91-71 victory over Warner Pacific College tonight in the opener of Cascade Collegiate Conference women's basketball action.
Oregon Tech improved to 11-0 overall and 1-0 in the CCC standings. WPC fell to 3-6 on the year and 0-1 in CCC action and travels to face Southern Oregon tomorrow night.
Jordan Wilcox led the Knights with 16 points, followed by
Ali Campbell with 12 and
Jacki Cannon with 10. Campbell nearly reached a double-double with nine boards, followed by Cannon with eight.
Tess Armstrong recorded a game-high 20 points on an 8-for-11 effort from the floor in the Owls victory. Karissa Dixon filled the stat sheet with 13 points, six rebounds and six assists. Kassi Conditt chipped in 12 points and blocked six shots while adding five rebounds.
Oregon Tech finished the night 29-of-57 from the field (50.9%) and 52.4% from long distance (11-of-21). The Owls would hold a 41-40 edge on the boards. WPC shot at a 31.7% clip (20-of-63) and 8-for-22 from the 3 point line (36.4%). As a team the Owls totaled 26 assists against 14 turnovers with the Knights turning it over 15 times while recording 12 assists.
