Mario Guizar, who now has nine total goals on the season. With the result, the Knights equaled their win total from all of last year.Â
How it Happened• The host Beacons struck first in the 11th minute by way of a free kick. After a WP foul, Angel Sandoval fired NCU ahead from just outside the 18 yard box.• The Knights responded in the 41st minute, as Guizar slotted home from 10 yards after a nice through pass from Geovanny Vazquez.• Guizar added another just before halftime with a cracker from 18 yards that took a deflection on the way past NCU keeper Bren Bletscher.
• The second half was a defensive battle, with just seven total shots taken between the sides.
• Zeph Hollins saw the best chance in the second period for NCU, forcing WP netminder Joe White into a save and earning a corner kick.• Warner Pacific salted the game away in the 65th minute thanks to another Guizar blast from 20 yards.
