PORTLAND, Ore. - Warner Pacific snapped a five game losing streak, stopping Corban 96-85 tonight at Bart Valentine Court.
The Knights were able to convert their field goal attempts at a 48 percent rate versus the Warrior defense - a much improved effort compared to recent games. Corban connected on 31 of their 78 shot attempts which was the same number of makes as WPC, but made 12 of 17 free throws compared to 23 of 26 for the Knights.

The visitors led by as many as seven points (23-16) and held a small lead through much of the period. A 9-2 run by WPC closed the gap, and the teams settled for a 43-43 tie score at the break.

Corban did manage to cut the margin to six points after two free throws from Jeremiah Harris, but a layup from Bankofier and another trey from Sampson-Young secured the win for Warner Pacific.
