PORTLAND, Ore. - The Warner Pacfic women's basketball team made their annual trip to Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho last weekend, coming home with two losses. The Knights dressed just seven players as injuries have taken their toll on the shorthanded team.
Eastern Oregon 98, Warner Pacific 43
The Knights were no match for EOU on Friday, as WP made just 27 percent of their field goal attempts during the game (16 of 58), and just 4 of 25 from the three point line. The host Mountaineers hit 51 percent of their tries overall, and made 13 of 35 from behind the arc.
Mady Hanna scored 15 points to lead the Knights, while
Kyeli Hendryx added 13 points and five rebounds.
College of Idaho 68, Warner Pacific 60
WPC made a much more spirited effort in Caldwell by outscoring the host Coyotes in two of the four quarters, but watched C of I pull away in a decisive 3rd period.Â
The Knights took a 37-36 third quarter lead on a
Michaela Pin 3-pointer – one of eight triples on the night for the visitors. The Yotes responded in a hurry, as Alyssa Case and Jaycin Tini each hit triples to give the Yotes the lead – the start of a game-changing 18-6 run that gave C of I the lead for good.

Petra Lumpert scored a game-high 24 points with five steals in the win for the Lady Yotes. C of I won despite being held to just 36-percent shooting for the night and committing 21 turnovers.
