PORTLAND, Ore. - Warner Pacific emerged victorious after a scrap with Grays Harbor College, winning seven bouts on the way to a 39-12 decision in dual competition.

Josh Johnson started things right with a quick pin of Kristopher Smith at 125lbs, then Lucas Higginbotham and Zach Sias each scored tech fall wins at 133 and 141.

WP suffered their first defeat at 149lbs,  as Zhachary Carreiro dropped a close 10-9 decision to Tyshane Young. Robert Frasier and Jesse Johnson put the Knights back on track with 3rd round pins, before Josh Pine scored a fall over Matt Aguigui.

Blake Cooper wrestled up at 184 lbs, and won by fall over Matthew Alejandro. Joe Dickinson added another tech fall win to WP's total at 197.

The night was finished with an exciting match between Alvaro Venegas and Jack Dahlgren at heavyweight, with Dahlgren scoring a late takedown to give Grays Harbor the points.

Seniors Josh Johnson, Pavin Blas, Jonathan Moskowitz, Joe Dickinson, Robert Frasier, Jesse Johnson on the men's side, and Regina Dickinson on the women's side were honored before the match.
