FOREST GROVE, Ore.| For the second week in a row
David Campbell took second in his weight class when he wrestled in the Mike Clock Open hosted by Pacific University.
Two wrestlers represented the Knights in the tournament, with
David Campbell serving as the only Knight to advance past their first match.
Campbell went 4-1 overall gaining a fall victory in the first round before gaining a major decision victory. Campbell then earned a 4-0 decision to send him to the semifinals where he squared off against Eastern Oregon's Coy Butner.
In the semifinals, Campbell earned a narrow 2-1 decision to send him to the finals in his weight division for the second week in a row.
Campbell came up short in a 5-2 decision in the finals, but came away second overall in his class for the second straight week.
Warner Pacific is back in action Nov. 20 when they travel to participate in the Spokane Open.
