NEWBERG, Ore. - An ice cold shooting performance in the 1st quarter by Warner Pacific allowed George Fox to run out to a big lead, and then coast to an 78-52 win in Newberg tonight.
Grace Prom made a three pointer in the opening minute, but the Knights did not score again until
Gabriella Bruno connected on a layup in the final moments. By then the damage was done and the host Bruins led 22-5.
The second period was a better performance for WP.
Bailey Allen came alive with nine points, but GFU continued to force turnovers and extended their advantage to 44-23 at halftime.

The Bruins controlled the action after the break and led by as many as 34 points. Small consolation for Warner Pacific came late, as the Knights outscored the hosts by five in the 4th quarter.
Allen finished with 13 points to lead WP. Ten other Knights put points on the board, but none scored more than six.
