Portland, Ore. | Warner Pacific University hosted the Owls of Oregon Tech in what they hoped would be a revenge victory on their September defeat but the Knights fell 0-3 in the match.
Â
The Knights were hoping to claim another victory on their home floor on Saturday night but despite three close sets against the Owls, they just weren't able to complete the task. WPU hit for .148 on the night versus OIT's .250.
Â
In what seemed to be an even competition, the Knights kept each set close, only losing by 5 at most, but just couldn't keep OIT from converting after a late run or two.
Â
Grace Buchanan had a career night with 14 kills, hitting for .233.
Audree Gormanson managed to tally 14 digs for the Knights.
Â
The Knights will host cross-town rivals Multnomah University Tuesday at 7pm.
