Forest Grove, Ore. | Warner Pacific Women's Basketball struggled to find an offensive rhythm on Friday night as they fell to Pacific University 51-71 in the last game of the Ken Schumann Classic.
Courtney Jackson came off the bench and contributed offensively for the Knights, leading the team in scoring with 15.
After one quarter of play, the Knights trailed by two points but couldn't find an offensive rhythm to keep the game close and headed into the locker room at half trailing by 14.
Out of the break, the Knights went on an 8-3 run but couldn't contain the shooting of the Boxers' shooting, as Pacific broke the run with back-to-back 23-footers.
Jackson came off the bench to score 2 of her 11 second half points as the Knights inched closer and came within 8 with 61 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
The 11-0 Boxers run in the fourth quarter put the game away and the Knights fell 51-71.
WPU will host Chapman University on Monday. Tip-off is set for 4pm.
