Six Knights Finish in Double Figures as Coach Potts Begins New Era with Dominating Victory

PORTLAND | Warner Pacific University Men's Basketball took Bart Valentine Court for the first time under the new leadership of head coach Jamayne Potts on Tuesday night. The Knights walked off with a dominating performance, defeating the Lions of Multnomah University 96-70. The new era of Warner Pacific Basketball is off to a promising start.

"I'm happy with the way we played tonight. First and foremost, you want to protect your home floor and we did that" said Potts. "I thought we were very unselfish with the ball. We had 23 team assists and six guys in double figures. I was also extremely proud of our effort on the glass on both sides of the floor...62 total rebounds, 24 offensive, holding the other team to 4 offensive rebounds, and every player having rebounds is a big time stat. It was a great all around effort and a great team win" he added.
